I saw nothing on their website that said a store is opening in Pacifica.

There is nothing in this "article" that states they are coming to Pacifica, nor anywhere in their website do they indicate they are opening an outlet here. Please do some basic research before you post these things.

725, at the Monday, 4/13/15, City Council Meeting, after speaking with Kimco officials, City General Manager, Lori Tinfow, stated that Pet Food Express is opening a store in Linda Mar Shopping Center. That "information" should be sufficient authority for me to post this article. Even so, at your "suggestion", I have added a disclaimer.

But your anonymous complaint is a reminder that named others are welcome to submit articles and announcements. Instructions: upper left of this blog.

Sheesh 725! Would a rumor be more to your liking? The Pet Express Coming to Linda Mar rumor has been circulating for several weeks in and around the shopping center. It even ran on Fix Pacifica under another thread. Seriously, Ms. Tinfow does not seem the type to announce such things without confirmation. You own a pet store? Maybe a pet?

Tinfow said it was on the Pet Food Express website and it is not.

Do I care about Pet Food Express, no!

I buy my dogs food at Costco and everything else from Amazon.

715 Did you just stamp your foot? I think a reasonable explanation might be that while Ms. Tinfow made certain that the lease is a done deal before she made her announcement, she isn't in charge of the Pet Express website. Somebody at Pet Express is. Moving parts and these things happen. I know, lots more fun to pitch a fit and be bitter. I don't even have a pet.

Same bunch of Liberals running this town into the ground.Kimco is a dictatorship in the property business give them a sickle with hammer. Bunch of crooks!

uh, craig roark, you're not making much sense. Kimco is a pure expression of capitalism. If it's a dictatorship, it's a conservative one, hardly deserving of the communist hammer and sickle. If it's liberals you want blame for the decline of the city, you should be supporting Kimco as the antithesis of liberalism.

Craig, if you're not on here as a provocateur, you're doing a hell of an impression of one.

It's all Liberals who run the local politics so please don't deny that one. Look at all the businesses that now have empty lots in Linda Mar/ Fairmont Shopping Centers. The billboard of KIMCO REALTY is posted on them. Why? Because they want to drive out the Mom & Pop Business to allow National Chains to come into the picture. No one wants to pay what they're asking. Look at the empty Denny's Lot pretty soon we'll have tumbleweeds scowling across these Shopping Centers.
