We're here to help...
"Earth Day.  Help us celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 18 from 9-11 a.m. by helping out at the Pacifica Sanchez Library Garden. We will be planting, seed starting and fertilizing our vegetable garden. These veggies are then donated to the Pacifica Resource Center for needy families in Pacifica."

"The Pacifica Sanchez Library Garden is a collaborative effort between the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of San Mateo and San Francisco Counties and the Pacifica Sanchez Library branch of the San Mateo County Library with land donated by the City of Pacifica.

The Master Gardeners is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to reaching out to local communities to promote healthy gardens and homes through research based horticulture information. The primary goal of this Master Gardener project is to develop the Pacifica Sanchez Library Garden in order to grow fruits and vegetables for donation to the Pacifica Resource Center and low-income seniors."
