From San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control,  "Treatment for Mosquito Larvae Performed via Helicopter."

San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District will be conducting treatments for mosquito larvae by helicopter at:  Sharp Park, Pacifica (SF County property), Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015. 

"These treatments involve the application of a dry pesticide over freshwater marshes only." for more information, open the Vector Control District link, pdf pages 1.
