There is an old saying.

If guns were outlawed only outlaws would have guns!

I thought the local pd's ran out of money?

I just viewed a video of criminals in their cells doing; shooting heroin, playing cards, sampling pills, drinking beer, showing off a Glock and ammo. Yes. This is in one of our local county jails. A cell mate video taped a party going on inside a cell with roughly 15 men in orange jump suits ube after he got out. And, they want to take away our 2nd Amendment rights? Get out of here.

As long as there are taxpayers to tax, they will never run out of money.

Tax and spend!

The money for this program is allocated by Jackie Speirs and generated by seizures of assets of criminals. No general fund money is being used by any PD agency.

I would like to see that video. Otherwise, I'll take it that it's a figment of someone's imagination.

@936 Prove it. Think I saw some TV teaser on this very thing. Didn't register as local. Specifically, which local county jail was it in and where can the video be viewed?

ok, you asked for it. Now I will go find it. I was so disturbed by it.

no video no proof

The article and video of criminals engaging in real crimes in custody, I am told, came from The Drudge Report. I don't know what that is.

I saw a video of women in prison on Cinemax one night. Yep watched the video over 56 times.

@Anon 12:23 then you will really get turned on by this video.

This is in Orleans Parish Prison.

This is from New Orelans thus it doesn't count!

That's not a New Orleans prison.

It's a New Orleans city council meeting.

.. "Yes. This is in one of our local county jails." Anonymous 9:36 AM. Did you really sit through 13 minutes of that New Orleans TV channel video?

As for YOUR "2nd Amendment rights", what about the 2nd Amendment regulatory rights in the best interest for ALL Americans? Licenses, homeowner taxes, garbage bills, certain medications, health care and insurance, stock transactions, etc. are all recorded, monitored and to some extent scrutinized. Why not guns?

There's an old expression, "your freedom ends where my nose begins." The nation needs to follow the common sense lead of the comprehensive gun legislation signed into law in the State of Connecticut today. Huffington, 4/4/13. And CNN, 4/3/13, and CNN 4/4/13.

Huffington Post is as far out wacko as Fox News.

CNN=Clinton News Network.

3:52 PM, the Huffington Post article is Associated Press, wacko neutral. But here's a USA Today Account, 4/4/13:

"Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy signed the nation's most far-reaching gun control bill Thursday, the ceremony in Hartford concluding several emotional weeks of debate and compromise since the state was rocked and the world stunned by the mass murder of children in Newtown.

This is a profoundly emotional day for everyone in this room," Malloy, a Democrat, said moments before signing the bill. He added that he hoped the state's bipartisan effort would provide an example for Congress.

When 92% of Americans agree that every gun sale should be subject to a background check, there is no excuse" not to make it federal law, Malloy said."

Okay that's what you needed see. Now if you can only understand it.

Did the police catch that gangbanger that shot that mama and baby in stroller in the mission district? Hate it when those gangs are gunning down innocents. Dont give up your guns, cops arrive after a crime has been committed.
