Since the Tribune has become a shopping news sheet, The Editor
doesn't accept my Editorial cartoons any longer. However " How long will the
Quarry Query take to decide on its future"?
Tom Jackson, wow! Your Editorial cartoons are WELCOME. Come back with more.
I've looked for your always thoughtful, great local Editorial cartoons on line and not found them. And for years, I've wished at some point you might consider putting decades of your cartoons in a book collection. If so, let us know that too.
You've been a significant asset and contributor to the Pacifica Tribune in years past. I hope going forward the Pacifica Tribune will reconsider adding your locally focused cartoons (replacing those which currently exist). I also hope the Tribune will gain more readership, and productive articles and editorials compatible with the need for City progress.
I thing Eileen Carey had it dead on. "Her" people are buried out there. It's hallowed ground. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo we build a giant casino!! Why not. It's what one of the chief (pun intended) obstructionist against any building claimed. How fast you think a conglomerate could get one of those things built?
Want to share an article or opinion? Unlike some other Pacifica blogs, Fix Pacifica won't bury viewpoints we disagree with. Send your submission, along with your name, tofixpacifica@gmail.com.
People may comment anonymously, but any comments that degenerate into 1) personal attacks against individual blog participants; 2) incomprehensible gibberish; or 3) attempts to turn conversations into grade-school playground brawls, will be removed.

How about a max-security prison? Plenty of rocks available for breaking.

Is Eileen Carey the lady who took the photo with Don Peebles, then claimed he assaulted her?
