Pacifica Tribune/Chris Hunter, Special Feature, 7/21/16. "Resource Center's new office marks independence.
Non-profit dedicated to helping those in need expands into portable building on Palmetto Avenue."

PRC adds a much needed portable building |
"The Pacifica Resource Center
began life four decades ago, but it only started on a new course of
fiscal independence on July 1 of this year as a stand-alone non-profit
charitable organization. Previously, the PRC had been part of the city
of Pacifica before needing the TIDES Foundation to be its fiscal
sponsor.
To mark the event in a very
visible and exciting way, the Pacifica Resource Center’s Board of
Directors made the decision to expand its Palmetto Avenue facility with a
new portable building. The project was made possible through a
grant
from the Second Harvest Food Bank and other donations.A
special Rebuilding Together event, with
Google employees, added to the
excitement as the entire PRC complex received an
upgrade and renovation
to match the new building. .... And plan to attend the Relaunch Event on
August 20, at 6 p.m. It will be
an exciting evening of
celebration for the Pacifica Resource Center."
