PSD and JUHS School Districts,
Board Member elections, 11/2016.
"Both the Jefferson Union High School District and the Pacifica School District will hold elections this November for school board.

The PSD has two open seats. Andrea Gould, an incumbent, runs for another term. Jesse Levin and Connor Kessler run for the open seat created by Matt Levie not running for another term.

On the JUHSD board, the official ballot states to vote for two to fill two four-year terms, but there is a third two-year seat open due to the resignation of Katherine Dulany halfway through her term. However, all the candidates put their names in to fill four-year terms.
Andrew Lie was recently appointed to fill Dulany’s seat, but two years still remain. The board will have to decide what to do about that opening after the election, said Dan Burns, JUHSD superintendent. 'They can decide to call for a special election within 60 days or decide to go through the appointment process. Previously, they chose to appoint someone when there was a vacancy,' he said.

Incumbents Kalimah Salahuddin and Andrew Lie are running for the four-year terms. They are being challenged by Roberto Marques.  Jeanne Matysiak is not running for another term."
