I don't believe Pacifica has an Open Space Committee anymore, so I doubt they're meeting tonight. In any case, they haven't had the members for a quorum in over a year.

Also, the Emergency Preparedness & Safety Commission is scheduled to meet tonight at 6pm (according to their agenda).

Emergency Preparedness & Safety Commission meeting added. Thanks Chris.

Open Space may be having a goodbye party, or plotting their future, or having no meeting whatsoever. They have had some meetings without a quorum for over one year. Its lunch hour at the City (with no phone answer just prior to lunch), so I don't care.

Surprise, the City calendar is not kept up-to-date, or there may be a conspiracy to keep some or all members of the public away or uninformed. Also, Channel 26 is not televising some of these meetings of interest. What does it all mean? I'm sure some Anonymous will get at the "truth" of the matter, and inform us all (ha).

Kathy 12:56pm.

City council cut the budget for all meeting other than City Council and Planning Commission over a year ago. Don't think the new budget replaced that funding. Not televisions "some of these meetings of interest" therefore isn't new.
