In 2012, Management Partners was tasked with analyzing data and information related to the possible contracting out of police services. In July of 2012 Management Partners prepared a verbal and power point presentation which was never finalized into a written report. A written version of that presentation is being completed by Management Partners and that public record will be available on March 28th at City Hall and on the City’s website at www.cityofpacifica.org under City Focus on the homepage.
To provide additional information and answer questions with regard to the Management Partners written report, the City has scheduled two public forums which will be held:
• April 4th at 6:00PM in the Council Chambers located at 2212 Beach Boulevard
• April 6th at 9:30AM in the Mildred Owen Concert Hall located at 1220 Linda Mar
Boulevard
At the forums a representative of Management Partners will present the report and respond to questions regarding the information contained in the report. These forums are informational only and no action or deliberation by the City Council will be undertaken.
Members of the public are encouraged to submit questions regarding the report in advance by sending them to the City Clerk or by email to PoliceServicesOptions@ci.pacifica.ca.us .

Wow, so not even an apology for not releasing the report on the 20th as promised. Now we have to go to a presentation to find out what's in the report that we paid for almost a year ago? I am so discusted with how this has been handled and is still being "handled"
The report will be posted on the City's website. You don't have to go to a presentation.
From frying pan to fire? The stoopids Monday night and now this.
What's next for council? Nekkid pictures?
Gee, how much does this cost? Two meetings with crash dummies from the consultants. The website is enough. Since council took police outsourcing off the table til 2014with those recent wink wink tough new contracts there's no need to waste another penny with these meetings.
Or if overcome by a fit of honesty and transparency council could put this mess on an agenda and open themselves to public comment. Referring to Nihart, Stone and Digre since this happened on their watch.
Is this meeting going to be televised?
probably scripted, rehearsed, critiqued, re-cast. they should be camera-ready but who knows?
you get a free dog and pony show with the purchase of any two cover ups so this one is no charge to the city
woohoo, a freebie!
