WHAT: The San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade — free admission.  

WHEN: St. Patrick’s Day Festival Saturday March 16, 2013 from 11am to 5pm. St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:30am.  WHERE: St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco. Parade begins at the corner of Second & Market St, and continues on to the Civic Center.

 San Francisco Cheap Fun."The St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates and showcases our Irish community, Irish culture and character in all its forms. Featured groups from throughout the Bay Area’s Irish community including schools, youth organizations, labor unions, cultural groups, as well as the San Francisco Police and Fire Departments in addition to many of our political leaders will proudly march up Market Street.
Again for 2013 the popular Irish Festival will be held at Civic Center Plaza, in front of City Hall before, during and after the Parade. The Festival gives you an opportunity to learn more about Irish history and culture."  This year the parade and festival will honor the Celtic woman. Event details.
