City Council trying to cut money to the Resource Center once again.

Council loves to see the Resource Center fans come to City Council and beg for money.

A shameful act by the city council.

PRC is probably safe. Not so for the library, Chamber, Beach Coalition or the sewer fund. They found a loophole to get at those sewer funds. In 2020, when the sewer funds will be needed for the uh sewer, some other council will be scratching their heads and saying what were those bumbs thinking? Still, I guess we do need to ask where is the money supposed to come from? We can rule out new taxes and still no sign of any real development. Grim.

The city attorney was out last night and some guy was there in her place. Tod, asked if the city attorney had a gender reassignment surgery.

They are digging deep trying to find out if they can borrow the money from the sewer fund.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

They got the answer they wanted. They can borrow from the sewer fund.
At some point Tinfow mentioned there is 5.7 million dollars in the sewer fund and that this was an appropriate balance for a fund begun in 2000 and which will be needed in 2020. Interesting that when Tom Clifford spoke on the item he said he thought there was 12 million in the reserve. What's that about?
Not to worry, Council says they are legally required to repay the loan by 2020. Wunnerful wunnerful. All our problems are solved. Let's get that library built. You betcha!
