But now there are changes brewing. Houses selling for a million dollars or more. That many people can no longer afford. Fassler hill being torn and scarred. For 5 million dollar houses???
Rockaway Quarry could be destroyed. By a Michigan Developer who has used lies and deceit. Who wants us to vote to rezone the quarry. So we no longer have a vote on the residential part in there.
Please fellow Pacificans be diligent and aware. Take a big step to save our city. And tell the Michigan Developer. Vote No in November. Say hell No Michigan Developer. It’s time to go. Leave our beautiful Quaint Pacifica alone."

Maybe Pacifica needs to put mobile parking in Quarry like San Jose is doing for Police & Transit workers,who can only afford to live 50 miles from work.
Police and Transit workers are union jobs. If their wages are not equitable, they need to get the union working on that. Screwing up the city tax base further with this shell game of a rezoning deal means less money to pay a fair wage for a fair days work.
Dude, I lived in San Jose, in a decent neighborhood just a year and a half ago. My next door neighbor was a SJPD patrolman and his family. His commute to the cop shop was less than a mile. Maybe try a "Ohmigawd, think of the children!" while you're at it. For those San Jose people who chose to move further out to afford a bigger place, the mobile lots allow them to avoid the horrific traffic that comes from all those "Multi Family Units" down there.
You know, like the ones they are trying to slap up in the Quarry...
Rent control is coming is coming to Pacifica and more mobile parking on Esplanade & Palmetto too!
Why not just tell the truth? We've got ours and we don't want you to have any of it.
