Pacifica Tribune/Barbara Arietta, Correspondent, 2/5/13.  "Assemblymember Kevin Mullin speaker at Democrats' meeting."

"Newly elected 22nd District Assemblymember Kevin Mullin (D-San Mateo) will be the next guest speaker at the upcoming Pacifica-Daly City Democrats breakfast meeting on Saturday, Feb. 16. The 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. presentation will be held in the rear banquet room of the Sharp Park Golf Course Restaurant, Highway 1 and Sharp Park Blvd.

Mullin's topic will be "Reflections and Projections of a New Assemblymember." Not only will he be giving a review of his first couple of months in office, but he will, additionally, be making projections about what kind of legislative session he is anticipating in his first year on the job. Mullin will also be giving a preview of his legislative package, as well as an overview of what he sees as the big legislative fights of the 2013-14 session.

The newly drawn lines of the 22nd Assembly District primarily cover the same territory that was included in the previous 19th Assembly District, before the recent decennial re-districting process took place. Prior to his election to the Assembly, Mullin was a Councilman from South San Francisco. By being elected to the California State Assembly, he is following in the footsteps of his father, former Assemblymember Gene Mullin, who also represented the 19th Assembly Assembly District in previous years."    Read article.
