Modify a 10/3/16 approved 400 sq ft addition development design permit (coverage, height, side setback, garage areas) to 625 sq ft: 111 Kent Road, (APN 023-032-070), a 3-strory single-family residence located on a 5,700 sq ft lot, Pedro Point. Recommendation approved as conditioned with no other approvals, subject to City Council and California Coastal Commission appeal.

2. CDP-379-16. City ""imminent health and safety hazard" Emergency Coastal Development Permit application to demolish vacant 310 Esplanade Avenue apartment building (APN 009-413-010) was approved 12/27/16. The demolition is expected to begin this week (1/17/17) with up to 4 weeks to complete, (the 60 days permit ends 2/25/17).
