Even though our house party in Vallemar coincided with a Giants game, a fairly good-sized group of neighbors turned out to ask Rich Campbell about his vision for Pacifica. I've been a strong supporter since I've known him, but some of the folks were meeting Rich for the first time. They were impressed by his experience and his command of the issues, and inspired by his ideas for Pacifica's future. Clearly he's done his homework. Rich has a clear grasp of our city's financial challenges, and has solid, sensible plans about how to grow revenues, build smartly, and keep Pacifica beautiful. His experience, credentials and balanced approach in this area won him the endorsement of both the labor unions and the Sierra Club. The other two candidates for council I'm supporting are Mary Ann Nihart and Karen Ervin. Please join me in voting for Richard Campbell, Mary Ann Nihart and Karen Ervin for Pacifica City Council.

if Campbell is all about growing revenues, why didn't SAMCAR endorse him???
How the hell an anyone believe an EPA attorney who is supported by the Sierra Club can do anything other than further cripple the city's finances?
Campbell's professional career is built around creating impediments to economic development. A leopard doesn't change its spots.
