Transit of Venus across the sun if you missed it prior

Venus solar transit across the sun
So what if its election day, and Venus crossing the sun has little to do with Pacifica, other than without Venus and the Sun there would be no Pacifica.

"Venus makes its final trek across the face of the sun for the last time until year 2117."

The CNN webcast is past, but in conjunction with NASA, CNN  posted a video:  NASA 6/6/12, 1.21 minutes.

Related - Daily Mail Online/Science and Tech/Glenys Roberts, UK, 6/4/12. "Tracking the path:  The transits take place in pairs, with an eight year gap, followed by a wait of 105 years." That's 2117.
