This statement found on Whole Earth's "Partner Page" "The City of Pacifica and Whole Energy have partnered to address local energy concerns and discover areas where localization of power generation can be achieved. This is an innovative, collaborative endeavor that seeks to remove problematic waste cooking oil from the waste water stream, combine it with local commercially available waste oil and process it into clean-burning biodiesel. The renewable fuel will then be used for both power generation and diesel vehicles in the region"

Looks like their page needs some updating!

Sharon, I think Whole Energy Fuels and city leadership were perfect partners. Its just a shame it didn't work out, but at least they didn't blow-up the WWTP.

So, since Whole Energy Fuels can afford a new name (or are skating from the old one) why can't they pay the bills for the damage they and their "friends" caused here? Why isn't the city suing them and all the "dos" involved? Or, was the city not suing Whole Energy Fuels part of the JV exchange for CQ keeping her job?

Name changes are useful, like NorCal Waste becoming Recology to avoid the stench associated with bribing the mayor of San Jose.
