Public Comment Period for State Route 1 Project Extended

Based on input received from the public, the comment period for the proposed State Route 1/Calera Parkway Project is being extended indefinitely while the San Mateo County Transportation Authority, the City of Pacifica and the California Department of Transportation schedule and hold additional public outreach on the project. The original deadline for comments was Friday, March 19. The dates of the additional outreach will be announced in the near future.
The purpose of the project is to reduce congestion on the segment of State Route 1/Calera Parkway in the City of Pacifica. The segment extends approximately 2,300 feet north of Reina De Mar Avenue to approximately 1,500 feet south of Fassler and Rockaway Beach avenues.
