KTVU: 5 daytime home burglaries reported Monday in Pacifica, suspects at large

PACIFICA (BCN)-- Jewelry, laptops, tablets and other electronics were stolen Monday in Pacifica in five home burglaries that appear to be connected, police said today.

All the burglaries occurred between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at least three of the five were in the same area.

At 12:55 p.m., officers went to the 200 block of Stanley Avenue following a report by someone who said they saw two people running with some things from the backyard of a home, according to police.

Officers found that a rear glass door to a home had been broken and the home's residents told police some items were taken.

A witness told officers the suspects appeared to have been black men in their 20s with medium builds wearing black hooded sweatshirts, police said.

About 25 minutes later, officers went to the 1000 block of View Way where a resident told police at least one room in their home had been ransacked and electronics and jewelry taken.

some people say Pacifica doesn't have a meth problem.

Bring in the sheriff and let them clean house.

There was no mention of a meth problem in the story. If someone broke into a meth house, they would be shot.

Two of my neighbors, after they used NextDoor App, were robbed and/or terrorized by their neighbor. One incident was reported to police. Both perpetrators were caught on video. After a person asked for some work to be done and a neighbor offered up their son/daughter, it was then that these people were robbed later on. Do not use that app. Very dangerous.

The meth heads are stealing everything and anything that isn't bolted down. Drive around Linda Mar after 10, the meth head zombies, are out and about stealing.
