Wonder what the one potential litigation is that keeps popping up? Who's suing us now!
When the city starts stealing peoples real estate investments there will be more lawsuits than you can count. Pacifica better add a big war chest fund to their stupid Rent Control bureaucracy 'cuz it's gonna get expensive. Either that or Dinah Verby, the SF Rent Control Judge, can donate her time to defending the city since she claims to be such an expert at all of this. She'll be very, very busy.
We are already going in to this budget with a Million dollar shortfall. Pick up a tribune from last week. The City is already crying broke...... Now the 3 Council members want RENT STABILIZATION ! With $700,000 plus cost just to administer this. This is going to cost every citizen in this town.. And do nothing to clean and improve this falling apart City!!!!
Equating limiting rent increases to the Consumer Price Index with "stealing peoples real estate investments" is the stupidest thing I've read on here yet.
