"Not one, but three World Series championship trophies are coming to Pacifica. The San Francisco Giants have won three World Series titles in the last five years. As in the past, the Giants are sponsoring a trophy tour. The tour features the 2014, 2012 and 2010 trophies.

The tour arrives in Pacifica on Monday, March 23. The trophies will on display at the Pacifica Community Center from 4 to 6 p.m. The community center is located at 540 Crespi Drive. The public will be able to have photos taken with the trophies. Fans will also have the opportunity to have a professional photo taken with the trophies and can purchase those prints onsite.

The Giants plan to accommodate as many fans as possible during the viewing time period. Fans are advised to arrive early as the line will be cut off, if needed, to allow the trophies to leave at the designated end time. The community tour is being coordinator by the San Francisco Giants and the Pacifica Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department."

As a lifelong Cub fan, I resent this gratuitous and unseemly display of excessive World Series championship gluttony. Show a little consideration for the less fortunate.
