Aren't we pretty close for the Judge to release the verdict on the highway 1 lawsuit?

So what happened at city council besides people showing up asking for bikes to use the skate park.

It looks like the city tore down the old dirt bike park behind park mall.

9:11 Answer: Julie Lancelle came to speak during public comments time on every issue she could. Increasing visibility may be a Foreshadowing of a return to Council in 2016. Karen and Mary Ann may be vulnerable to such a formidable opponent. Julie was an effective leader, one of the best we ever had. I remember her. Her commitment to the environment was unparalleled.

Just a matter of time before that old nimby magic takes over again. Don't know if Lancelle is the chosen one, but she's electable. Maybe she was just bringing some positive energy to council. You know how they love that positive energy. Maybe one of the incumbents won't run in 2016 and make it easy. Lancelle and Nihart always got along well, supported each other's efforts. Time will tell.

I love Pacifica.....
You are naïve. Julie Lancelle was extremely manipulative and a cohort of Vreeland. She is not trustworthy and panders to the faux-enviros in this town. She needs to explain where the missing $4,000,000 disappeared to.

Lancelle knows how to get things done. Call it what you will, positive or negative, but we haven't seen anyone with that skill set in years. She understands compromise and collaboration. Unlike Nihart, she doesn't just talk that talk, she walks the walk and she can get others to go with. We might not like it, but there's no one, not a single person, who represents the pro-growth side as ably as he does the nimbys. That's the problem. If she runs, it'll be a nimby majority. No one gives a rat's ass about the 4 million. Remember the last election? It was a non-issue.

I was just informed that the judge ruled against the plaintiffs (Pacificans for Highway 1 Alternatives, aka PH1A, aka Hippies) who wanted to block the highway widening.

Julie also wanted to draft a letter to San Bruno Daly City and South San Francisco about setting up a revenue sharing due to the fact Pacifica residents have to do much of their shopping over the hill.

"No one give's a rat's ass about the missing $4,000,000.00"........

Hmmmm. Maybe you should ask the laid off City Workers if they care. How 'bout the police and fire personnel who were let go. Don't forget to check in with the fishies in the ocean swimming in human shit cuz the sewer doesn't work so good. Also be sure to ask all the auto owners whose suspension is torn up by potholes. You should also check with all of the commuters stuck in traffic on Hiway 1 and the daily wrestling match on the Manor overpass.
Lancelle was a major player in the regime which bankrupted this town and "lost" the $4,000,000.00.
Next time she shows up at council to test the waters for future electability I hope someone holds her feet to the fire. Re-electing her is as stupid as re-electing another Bush.

1215 Awesome the way you and a few others consistently misjudge what this town is about. For every post on here that bellows about suing Loeb and holding Lancelle's feet to the fire for past deeds most Pacificans regard them as community heroes and would vote again for them. They represent a Pacifica people want to keep pretty much as is. You claim to represent an improved Pacifica. Your problem is that your motives often fail to pass the smell test and your methods make people cringe. I guess it's your delivery.

1215 Dramatic, but I think no one give's a rat's ass pretty much covers it. When we get the scrubbed, hygienic version of what happened, the Trib, if there is still a Trib, will present a garbled synopsis for it's dwindling readership, the resident-ranters will rant, and life will go on. No hard feelings and barely a ripple.

246 Bush Senior is in the drooling stage, but he's left the boys in good hands.
