"The District 52 Little League Majors all-stars tournament starts today with one looming question: Can anyone stop Pacifica American?  Pacifica American won the 10-11's district tourney title last year and the 9-10's crown two years ago. Update -  Daily Journal (San Mateo County), Nathan Mollat, 7/2/14. "Two Little League programs not used to losing early in tournaments — Hillsborough and Pacifica American — found themselves in an elimination game in the District 52 10-11 All-Star Tournament at the Belmont Sports Complex Tuesday evening. ....  it will be Hillsborough that advances with a 16-7 win. .... Pacifica American sent the game into the sixth...   “They kept fighting,” Hawkins said. “They didn’t give up.”
