Supervisors' Vote Becomes Final ; Mayor Lee now has 10 days to veto

The San Francisco Supervisors today (Tues., Dec. 13) again voted 6-5, with no discussion, to pass the Avalos 'Close-Sharp-Park-Golf-Course' Ordinance on the Second Reading. There were no vote changes from December 6, when the Ordinance passed 6-5 on first reading:  Yes: Avalos, Mirkarimi, Mar, Kim, Campos, Chiu
No: Elsbernd, Farrell, Chu, Wiener, Cohen

It will now become law unless Mayor Lee vetoes the Ordinance within 10 days.

Keep the faith. Keep those please-veto-this-terrible-ordinance letters (better) and e-mails flowing to Mayor Lee:
Mayor Edwin Lee
San Francisco City Hall, Room 200
One Dr. Carleton B. Goodlett Place

Spread the word. We really need a concerted campaign of letters and e-mails to Mayor Lee.
