Two dead, eight displaced after 3-alarm blaze torches Pacifica house


Two people were dead and eight others were displaced after a three-alarm fire burned up a Pacifica house  early Sunday morning.

Fire crews received reports of the fire at 552 Inverness Dr. around 5:54 a.m. and arrived five minutes later to see flames shooting from the two-story building, prompting crews to call a second alarm, according to a spokesperson for the Daly City Fire Department, the administrative body for the Pacifica Fire Department.
