State of the US economy, 8 years

Market Watch/Brett Arends, Columnist, 12/11/16.  "Opinion:  Here's the verdict on that 'terrible' Obama economy."

.... ... "I’ve compared the third quarter of 2008 — just before Obama’s election — with the third quarter of 2016. (I’ve included links to the data, although Trump’s tinfoil army, most of whom wouldn’t know an actual source if it hit them over the head, will just cry conspiracy theory, as usual.)

No worries, Ms. Meeh. President Obama is going to look really good after a few years of Trump. If we survive. The idea of Trump, a tainted, amoral, draft-dodging grifter, posing as President in the same White House as Adams, Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Reagan and Obama is disgusting. Humbling that even this great country has its shameful moments. We'll just have to wipe off our shoes and carry on!

Then explain to me why we are 20+ trillion in debt?

1238 You asked a question, you got a pretty good answer. That it isn't the one you so desperately want, reflects your need to mold facts to fit your anti-Obama narrative. Confirmation bias. Perfectly human, but not truth-seeking behavior.
