San Francisco Chronicle/Tom Stienstra, 7/12/14. "Sunday drive/Pacifica 5 Beaches."
"What you'll see: In a span of 5 miles of coast at Pacifica, you can access the most diverse stretch of beaches in Northern California. They range from the remote and quiet (Mussel Rock) to popular Linda Mar (surfing, water sports) with Mori Point (great views), Pacifica Pier and Sharp Park (fishing, crabbing), and Rockaway Beach (easy access) in between.
Parking is not free, promotes a clean, safe beach, and buy a taco (1% revenue for the city) |
Surfing is free, look out for other boards and sharks |

I went Salmon fishing with Tom Stienstra years ago with a guy (Jim Kreiger?) who used to write a fishing column for the Tribune. Tom was really a nice down to earth guy and helped a young kid. Thanks for the writeup Tom
