I went to the SF State Gator Invitational over the weekend to root on the women's basketball team of my alma mater, the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Go Nanooks!
The University of Alaska Anchorage was also there, and I was surprised to find that two of the UAA players were from Pacifica.

The Alaska teams dominated, each beating both of their Bay Area opponents - SF State and Holy Names University of Oakland.
