City Council seems marijuana site obsessed.Six sites already in operation & wants 10 more available and if not achieved relax buffer zone requirement.New site near Manor Chit-Chat has frosted glass.Transparency?Operations appear to be completely unregulated.Noticed no report on marijuana revenue, because there is none.

They are money starved! The pigs of government always have to be fed.

It's a cash business. You can't make legitimate business account deposits in any federal insured bank due to money laundry and other laws. Of course every business will be above board and honest about the amount of cash coming in!

There are legal workarounds to the Federal banking restrictions because banking is being done in Colorado, Oregon and Washington (basically local credit unions relying on no-action letter equivalents), and pot sales aren't strictly cash-only.

How sad. I found the source of three high explosive launch pads in just a couple of minutes and then watched the perps shooting them off until they ran out.
Why in the world can't Pacifica PD patrol in unmarked cars, wear undercover clothing and do the same? Linda Mar and Pedro Point looked like W's "Shock and Awe" crime in Iraq.
This is unconscionable behavior in the middle of residential neighborhoods.
Maybe we'll get serious about this when someone gets killed or a few blocks of housing burns to the ground. So glad the council has their priorities straight.
Happy 4th !!!

I feel like removing myself more and more from the uninformed citizenry. Sigh. Demanding cops do more, at the same time never any support. Pfft. Deal with it. You live in Pacifica where on the 4th bombs burst in the air.

Police are directed and funded by council. Therein lies the problem.
Our PD puts their life on the line everyday to protect us from the bad guys.
Council majority has no clue how to run a city and is completely consumed with pandering to their puppet master NOBY bosses. "Screw everyone else".
