Looking forward to a poetry column in the Pacifica Tribune

Pacifica Tribune/Letters to the Editor, 2/25/14.  "Poetry column" by Dorsetta Hale

"Editor:  As poet laureate, I would like to appeal to Pacifica poets to submit one of their poems for publication in the Poetry Corner, a column that I am proposing to resurrect that was originated by former Tribune editor Chris Hunter and our first poet laureate, Rod Clark. This would be an ongoing column featuring local poets of all ages. Pacifica has a lot of poetic talent and this would be good way to showcase it and share with the community.

San Mateo County's newly appointed Poet Laureate Caroline Goodwin has graciously agreed to submit a poem for the first column if we get the go-ahead to proceed. Keep in mind that this is a family newspaper, so use discretion in you entries.

Please let the Bay Area News Group know that you'd like to see small space made for poetry by emailing your submissions to thecoastisclear.dh@hotmail.com. Not all poems can be selected but all will be read. Thank you."
