Let me guess, every single person who advocating for Fair Rents Pacifica will be there en masse to object to added housing units on the basis of environmentalism.

You got that right pal. If it benefits me, I'm for it.
If the burden can be cast onto the backs of taxpayers, I'm for it.
If it restricts private property rights, I'm for it.
If it violates the "I got mine" cult mantra of me and my fellow faux enviros,
I'm against it.

Sam C. will try to block the little apartment building near Pedro Point, just like he tries to block everything in the area.

I drove from Montara to San Francisco via Pacifica this morning.
From Linda Mar light at 8:00 AM to Vallemar light, it took me 22 minutes to cover what would be approximately 1 mile. Along with me there were several other cars/truck trudging along. I would probably guess about 100 or so.

A similar stretch anywhere else would've taken me about 3-5 mins. Taking that into account, that is approx 17 minutes of time spent in commute one way. If were to estimate the same amount of time wasted during late afternoon, evening hours, that would be 34 mins of time spent wasting fuel and my personal time.

34 mins/day * 20 days * 12 months = 8160 minutes a year spent trudging along in Pacifica commute traffic. That is approximately 5.6 full days in a year.

Assuming there are at least 1,000 cars that make this trip everyday, it would be 5,666 days a year wasted in this commute.

I think its time to widen that road.

9:58, too late to fix the highway. Our moronic majority on council gave the money back to the county and said "thanks but no thanks". Somewhere in the neighborhood of $7,000,000. Yep, 6 zeros there. The county is scratching their head trying to figure out just how FUed up Pacifica is. The money is paid for by our taxes so in essence we gave our money to "needy" projects on the Peninsula! I'm flummoxed.

Cleveland used to be the armpit of the UNited States. The mistake by the lake. The colon of the midwest. They pulled their city out of the mess they were in.

East Palo Alto was the murder capital of the United States. They city wiped out Whiskey Gulch and pulled their city out of the mess they were in.

Pacifica continues to rot on the vine.

Way to go Hippies Nimby's and Noobees.

I put equal blame on the yessies that haven't done a fricken thing except for belly ache and cry in their Budweiser Beer.

This illegitament council majority led by the Dragon Lady Deirdre is far worst than moronic.
A very sinister group of people have taken over the reigns of our city.
These people are hell bent on violating Private Property Rights with Measure C.
They are intentionally choking traffic with this Measure A money give back stunt.
They are adding redundant layers of ridiculous and unenforceable bureaucracy to campaign contribution disclosure rules.
They are villanizing Realtors, developers and investors to set up straw dogs.
They are spreading false horror stories of Sea Level Rise and shoring up their phony philosophies with the known, for sale shill, Bob Battalio.
They have installed a certified nut job, Dan Stegink, on the planning commission to throw sand in the gears of improvement. (he was their lapdog operative who helped them knock out Mary Ann and change the majority vote to support their nefarious scheme)
Why would they do all of this evil shit you ask???
THEY'VE GOT THEIRS, SCREW EVERYONE ELSE.

Why wake-up, thank you for your stroll down misery lane. Makes me want to crawl under my desk, assume the fetal position, and cry. Instead, I'm one of the unsung soldiers working to defeat Measure C. We could always use more help, more $, and more letters to the editor to counter the fairy tales propagated by the group of lemmings scrambling for the cliffs.

San Casitas built his McMansion on Pedro Point now he is flipping his middle finger to anyone who wants to build. I expect this mouthpiece to try to get a building moratorium on Pedro Point.

I feel for the Llamas on the point they are surrounded by Kooks, nimbies, noobes and I got mine fart on you!
