I have a plan! |
While there is a long list of fun
and engaging events (highlighted below) that are upcoming as we roll
into summertime, please take note of the five community engagement
meetings scheduled for the City’s
“Plan Pacifica”
effort, which includes the General Plan and Local Coastal Program
updates and development of a Specific Plan for the Sharp Park
neighborhood. These Plans are tools for shaping the evolution of
Pacifica so it best serves and delights its residents. We need your
input to make these plans the best they can be!
The first of these meetings will
occur next Thursday evening, June 27, 6:00 pm at the Community Center at
540 Crespi Drive. Dinner will be provided. You are encouraged to
RSVP so we can best plan the meeting. The project site at
planpacifica.org
provides information about each project, including ways to participate,
project documents and City contacts. I encourage you to participate and
help shape the future of Pacifica.

typical city hall shell game with no details. No agenda posted. No Tribune ad alerting readers to meeting. Presumably no video of meeting. Minutes will be sketchy. probably deny public comment (typically 3 minutes) and forced to put sticky notes on wall that may or may not be including in the minutes. Just like the coastal plan run around.
A meeting for the NOBY's, by the NOBY's and screw everyone else.
