word on the street was danny was passed over as plan commission liaison to the library committee and clifford was appointed instead. While keener, martin and digre pitched a political plum to appoint danny to planning commiss, the actual commission showed remarkable adult behavior in passing danny by.
They should have run a FULL criminal background check on Stegink before making this appointment. The public deserves to know now that he serves on the Planning Commission.
There are some serious questions that need answers and a BIG story here if only we had a real newspaper and not a church bulletin masquerading as one.

I've been out of town and just saw that Dan got appointed to the planning commission. This is the guy who flipped out and threatened to kill me in the city council chamber parking lot.
I liked what he said in the Tribune about expediting remodels, but the guy's a con man. He's trying to get his name known for a city council run.
Stegink is a member of the Keener, Martin, Digre cult. These are the same three nutty council people who are stacking the deck with Batallio and forcing us taxpayers to pay him $185,000 for his pro-managed retreat science fiction.
