Brown Act study session, Wednesday night, 11/30/11, 6 - 8 pm
Want to learn more about how the Brown Act works in government, and what constitutes good government vs. violations? There will be a special Study Session for the Planning Commission at City Council Chambers, 2212 Beach Boulevard, this Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 6 pm. Take this opportunity to attend.

If you would like to take a refresher course in how to violate the Brown Act, review the infamous Planning Commission meeting where they placed an item on the agenda during oral communications, discussed it, were warned they were in violation of the Act, then continued to discuss the item for 40 more minutes!
OBTW, this wasn't the first time that Langille, an attorney herself, has been admonished by the city attorney about not violating the Brown Act. I think there should be a test after the class!
