Pacifica Progressive Alliance City Council Candidates Endorsement Questionnaire

Blogmaster's note : As usual, the Pacifica Progressive Alliance is fixated on using Pacifica's tax dollars to save the world, and shows absolutely no interest in economic development, the city's finances, or the nuts-and-bolts of running a city, such as filling potholes and maintaining public services and infrastructure.

WOW! I really can't get my head around those questions. Is this SF? Who makes this shit up? Cynthia Kaufman? John Keener? Deirdre? Jeez! What kind of drugs are they all taking!

If I was a candidate, here's what I would say to get the PPA's endorsement.

1. No new housing in Pacifica.

2. Make Pacifica a sanctuary city for people living in RVs and cars.

3. Close all Pacifica gas stations. They are all greedy and corrupt.

4. Ban cars. Only allow buses on Pacifica roads.

5. I don't know what a Compassionate City is, but I'm all for it. I would vote to make Pacifica compassionate.

6. I've accomplished nothing with my life, and I want Pacifica to do the same. I realize that for the PPA and its supporters, accomplishing nothing is an accomplishment.

7. You're talking about legal immigrants, right? Legal immigrants have made America great. I would make Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" the official Song of Pacifica. "Ah-ah, ah! Ah-ah, ah!"

8. I would confiscate the property of the the greedy and corrupt landlords, bourgeoisie, and kulaks. I will expropriate residences and turn them into komunalkas, which I like to call "Palaces for the Workers". 50 people per residence = cheap rent. Nobody will be homeless. Pacifica will be a workers and peasants paradise.

9. I would demand that greedy and corrupt Caltrains be accountable and build a train through Pacifica.

10. Is that Managed Retreat? I would stand on my legs, wag my finger, and insist we all retreat out of Pacifica.

Thank you for your endorsement.

THAT WILL CREATE GRIDLOCK AND THE STOP SIGNS ON ODDSTAD WILL BACK UP WITH MORE THAN ONE CAR!
What do you think the City Council should do for people living in RVs and cars?
REQUIRE EVERYONE TO LIVE IN RV'S AND CARS
What commitments do you think Pacifica should take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to fight climate change.
I WOULD PULL MY SLEEVES UP, ASSUME A STERN LOOK, AND YELL AT THE OCEAN "STOP WARMING PACIFICA".
What would you do as a council member to improve public transportation?
EVERY OTHER PERSON WOULD BE FORCED TO WALK TO WORK.
Would you help to designate Pacifica as a Compassionate City and what would a Compassionate City of Pacifica do?
OF COURSE I'D HELP. I'M COMPASSIONATE AND I WILL CRY AT THE DROP OF A HAT.
What do you want to do for Pacifica and what experiences have most prepared you to serve our community?
What would you do for immigrants in Pacifica?
GERMAN AND ENGLISH IMMIGRANTS WOULD BE DEPORTED.
What would you do about income disparity in Pacifica?
I WOULD OUTLAW INCOME DISPARITY MAKING IT PUNISHABLE BY SEVERE WARNINGS DELIVERED IN OFFICIAL LOOKING STATIONARY.
Given that Caltrans has not acted accountably to Pacifica, what would you do as a City Council member to change that?
I WOULD OUTLAW CALTRANS AND ADVOCATE THAT PACIFICA PROTEST TAXES.
Where do you stand on city liability for new development in at-risk areas?
THE CITY SHOULD BUY ALL PRIVATE PROPERTY WEST OF HIGHWAY ONE VIA EMINENT DOMAIN. FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY.

when keener shows at first available candidate debate, we all ask he release his answers to this "progressive" philosophy test. Keener is the open gov't guy. His campaign flyer from 2014 says so: 'end the hidden backroom decision making".

A manifesto for Pacifica! All hail the Keener, usurper of the crown of ineptitude and verbosity. All hail Cynthia Kaufman, spiritual leader for the great progressive revolution.

Would you help to designate Pacifica as a Compassionate City and what would a Compassionate City of Pacifica do.

Pacifica should be recognized as a compassionate city because we have most marijuana dispensaries in San Mateo County.

A compassionate Pacifica would offer medical marijuana vouchers to registered homeless after 1yr living in
Pacifica

The most compassionate thing would be if the city had a solid financial base and could afford to address or alleviate a lot of our problems. Until then, and without funding, about all we can offer is sympathy and a lot of hot air.

Collective Delusion is strong in this city.

Digre is termed out, Keener is up for re-election. time to flush the toilet and get rid of some of the stinky on council and freshen it up a little. Anyone have any idea how much Keener has cost this city? We could start with the highway money he gave back to the county. You know, the money that was funded by our tax dollars. What else? Anyone have a running total?
