Why did City Council do a proclamation for Kathy the City Clerk?
Cuz she's damn good at what she does and is a new human being on top of that.
Kathy O'Connell is retiring, and in an official capacity this was her last City Council meeting.
The meeting was wonderful as she was recognized for excellence, good will, and humanity by staff, council and the public throughout the meeting.
Kathy will be missed. I wisher the best in this new phase of her life.
correction......
"Cuz she's damn good at what she does and is a WONDERFUL human being on top of that".
Kathy is retiring after many years as the Pacifica City Clerk. She is excellent at her job and has kept important areas of the city government running smoothly. She will be extremely missed and as Mike Bell said, she is a wonderful person.
