The San Francisco Supervisors today (Tues., Dec. 13)
again voted 6-5, with no discussion, to pass the Avalos
'Close-Sharp-Park-Golf-Course' Ordinance on the Second Reading. There
were no vote changes from December 6, when the Ordinance passed 6-5 on first reading:
Yes: Avalos, Mirkarimi, Mar, Kim, Campos, Chiu
No: Elsbernd, Farrell, Chu, Wiener, Cohen It will now become law unless Mayor Lee vetoes the Ordinance within 10 days. Keep the faith. Keep those please-veto-this-terrible-ordinance letters (better) and e-mails flowing to Mayor Lee: Mayor Edwin Lee Spread the word. We really need a concerted campaign of letters and e-mails to Mayor Lee. Send us copies of your correspondence with the Mayor, please, to info@sfpublicgolf.com. Contact information for the Mayor and Supervisors can be found by clicking on this link. Save Sharp Park! |
