Children's
Car-Safety Seat CheckSaturday, March 20, 2010 10 a.m. to Noon MLK, Jr. Community Center & Park
(Parking Lot) 725 Monte Diablo Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94401
Technicians will make sure your child's safety
seat is correctly installed in your vehicle. It is estimated
that 80% of child safety seats are not installed properly.
According to the National
Transportation Safety Board, 96% of parents who use child safety
seats, booster seats
and safety belts to protect their children think they are using them
correctly. However, check ups continually show that 4 out of 5
unintentionally make mistakes that could result in their child being
injured or killed in a crash.
Cosponsored by the
Lucile Packard Children's
Hospital, Safe Kids Santa Clara/San Mateo Counties, the California Highway Patrol, the San Mateo County Sheriff's
Office, and the City
of San Mateo.
FREE Child Car Safety Seat Checks conducted by
certified technicians.
FREE Fire Safety Coloring Books for the kids!

Jerry Hill is a creep and a weirdo. Check that beard.
Vote for someone else please.
We need new government around here.
Check out those cheeks. Jerry Hill looks like a chipmunk.
Jerry Hill spoke at the Pacifica Democrats meeting open to the public last month, and had you been there you might have found him to be charming, intelligent, sensible and engaging. There's a reason he captured all those votes. Admittedly I do wonder what his face looks like behind that beard.
