If this is the typical type of agreement developers have to sign off on in Pacifica, no wonder nobody builds here.

Steve, it isn't typical but necessary. At the time both Tait and his partner wanted an EIR, which was required anyway, and since they were "taking" a prominent ridge-line they also seeked COA that would satisfy all interested parties so they wouldn't get a horrific amount of push back on their subdivision. The COA are the only reason, for most concerned, that the project got approved.

And while work has just begun irresponsibility of the contractor(s) has already caused the East Rockaway neighborhood to basically be without water for 24 hours because of a water main they broke. And this is just the start.

The COA were asked for by Tait and Stewwie. And the COA for Harmony are not typical.

The "conditions of project approval" look like an eco-concentration camp for wealthy people. Whereas, the imposed conditions are designed by "other people"-- people who cannot afford to live like that, possibly much less by choice. Fits into the category: "you've got to be kidding".

What's fair about this 19 page laundry list of conditions? Nothing! Contrast to other housing and housing subdivisions throughout this city. No such severe conditions were imposed in our neighborhoods. But, with all that eco "encouragement", will you be running right out to "search for a (laundry) dryer that can run on solar power" (computer page 7)? Once these houses are built, anyone want to bet on housing sale turnover?

Kathy, Tait and Stew agreed to them. Without the COA they would not have had an approved project. But fear not, it looks like the Harmony contractor is completely ignoring the COA judging by the scraped earth that is taking place.

Oh, and don't forget our water was fouled for 24 hr this weekend. And the project has just started!

Pop pop fizz fizz. Oh what a relief it is. On Riptide Nacy Hall reports Keener and Leon contacted her to let her know she could relax on this one. Nothing to protest, yet.

Nancy is really slipping. She called keener, bray and Leon.

831 Gosh, I hate to think of her just sitting by the phone waiting for one of them to call. It's a sad thing, is it not? And you know those guys can't sing. Bray, Keener and Leon. The Three Tenors they ain't!

Hey Todd

You are really really slipping. There was another incident up at Harmony this am. One lane of Fassler Avenue closed and 4 city public work trucks and crews trying to clean up a huge mess.

Todd

You know Stewie was part of Skyfield USA and everything they touched turned to shit right?

Pacifica is the only city, that requires this.

Tait wanted to buy the Harmony property and went to a city councilman. The city councilman told him to go talk to Nancy Hall first. Nancy sang a couple songs and passed the bong around.

Only in Pacifica a song singer can dictate development procedures and conditions of approval before city councils sees a project.

LMAO!!! The only thing missing from the list of conditions of approval is the developer delivering world peace. Hard to imagine anyone accepting these conditions. But I'm sure that was the idea. The list just goes on and on and on, ad infinitum. No wonder the developer has to charge so much for the homes! I wonder if those who are afflicting this substantial economic burden on the developer ensured that the exact same conditions have been met on their own homes? I particularly loved the clause about leaf-blowers. Madonna, they thought of everything! Well, the only thing being blown here sure as hell ain't leaves.
