From 136, "A party at the fire house and full bar ended. Some wanted to party on to Cheers and jumped over the barricades, getting ready to run over the detour. Driver never saw her. Tragic."

136, I'm reprinting your important information comment on this article from your initial posting on the Highway article, 2/27/14. 637 posted an initial short article there, so it was accepted this time on comments, but the accident which occurred at Pedro Point deserves a full article now posted.

I just feel for all parties involved. A lot of reckless behavior. Young adults running to Cheers I imagine that driver did not see them coming. I don't know. It is soo tragic.

Funny. Friday afternoon, I was sitting outside La Playa drinking a ice cold corona watching the Caltrans team working away and thinking to myself , 'note to self: don't go that way at night' because my vision at night is not as strong as it used to be.
