Population:  38,109 (-1%, 2011).   

Working population:  20,673.  Thus, roughly 17,436 or (45.75%) are not working (dependent spouses, children), disabled, retired, unemployed, etc.).

Commuting details, car, truck or van:  1- person  15,449.  Carpool:  2-person 1,666, 3-person 555, 4+-person 71. Total 17,741.

Public transportation (excluding taxicabs): 1,533.

Other:  walked 430. Taxicab, motorcycle, bicycle or other 272.  Working from home:  697.

Demographics - Area Vibes (seems current), or  Bay Area Census compare 2000 to 2010.
