AT&T just can't buy a break with frustrated customers. The beleaguered cell phone provider's plans to upgrade its Bay Area network can't come soon enough for frustrated customers in Pacifica.
A "degraded cell site" in has forced some
AT&T customers to go without cell service for more than five days
now. With their new found free time, angry customers have turned to Twitter to release their AT&T angst.
"Day 5 with no AT&T phone service in Pacifica. Screw it, I'm going to LA. To check my voice mail and other things," @iamkimiam tweeted Tuesday.
In AT&T's defense the company says it has
technicians standing by to repair the site and it is a high priority
but severe weather has turned a steep, dirt access road to the site on
a mountain into a very muddy road."
AT&T says once it can safely reach the site
it will restore service but there is no ETA on when that might happen.
Until then AT&T users, may we suggest a book or television to
occupy your time.
