Thanks for keeping us informed, Terra Nova had a very good run-- much to be proud of.
I was always impressed that Terra Nova approached football the same ways high schools here in Texas do. (And what a thriller last night for the Longhorns!). Kudoes to the Terra Nova coaching staff and players.
This is not meant to disrespect coastside high school football, but there is frankly no comparison.
What does that mean Scotty: Football, players, strategy....comparison with what?
I think Scotty means they aren't quite as fanatical about football on the coast as they are in Texas, but my observations of Terra Nova and their coaching staff were always very positive. Its a shame Pacifica leadership doesn't support the athletics as much as they subsidize the arts. My wife remember Oceanna having a phenomenal basketball team back in 1984, and I think the youth sports in town could use a little boost.
Ah well, as long as there is a commitment to hiking trails and the GGNRA . . . LOL.
Hiking is an Olympic event, isn't it? I know bird, frog and snake watching are. I wonder why there is an obesity problem with our youth...
