The usual round of the usual "pundits" are blaming all of California's financial woes on Proposition 13. So our advice (taken from the Julie Lancelle/Glengarry Glenn Ross book of "if you don't like it, leave!") is move to Chicago.
Seems their property taxes are seeing Double Digit Increases.
So all the Jarvis haters can take comfort that as the country continues to suffer through the worst recession and job loss in 80 years, there is at least one city that embraces you're "never enough property taxes" mantra.
