SF Public Golf Alliance: Important SF Rec & Park Meetings to Attend This Week
Dear Members of the Alliance,
There are a couple of important meetings for you to attend this week regarding the future of Sharp Park.
Sharp Park will be an informational item on the agenda of the San Francisco PROSAC (Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee) November 4, 6:30 p.m. meeting and the subject of a closed-to-the-public discussion by the Recreation and Parks Commission with legal counsel over threatened litigation, at the Commission's Nov. 5, 4:00 p.m. meeting.
1) Nov. 4 (Wednesday), 6:30 p.m., meeting of PROSAC (SF Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee), City Hall, Room 278: Item 2 on the Agenda will be Sharp Park golf maintenance/environmental compliance plan, and Sharp Park finances; Item 3 on the Agenda will be PROSAC committee member Nancy Wuerfel's report on her findings of irregularities in the Department's Golf Fund accounting practices. It does not appear that there are any action items here, but the reports should be highly interesting.
2) Nov. 5 (Thursday), 4:00 p.m., meeting of SF Recreation & Parks Commission, City Hall, Room 415; Item 13 is a closed-to-the-public Commission conference with Legal Counsel, regarding the Center for Biological Diversity's September 24, 2008 Notice of Intent to Sue over the red-legged frog and San Francisco garter snake at Sharp Park. As always, please check our website regularly for the latest updates and announcements.
Thank you very much.
Jeff Phillips

We need to get you on FaceBook. Lots of traffic and you can reach more people. I will post FixPacifica on my FB.
Thanks Kathleen, Welcome to all who want a better, more responsible city. We can work together for that.
Thank you for putting us on the Face Book. Could you put us on the Twitter too?
I think Rocky said we're on Twitter.
