R. Donahue Peebles on cover of November's Black Enterprise

Well, thank goodness we kicked his ass out of this town. Wouldn't want a successful developer to spend any money here
Lance

Real estate entrepreneur, top-selling author and political powerhouse, R. Donahue Peebles, is featured on the cover of this month’s Black Enterprise magazine. The in-depth article details how this “master blacksmith of entrepreneurialism has the skills to land the right deal, the fortitude to fend off rivals, and the moxie to ensure the company remains viable no matter the business environment.”

He came waltzing into our town
With his honey and his milk
His tongue was made of silver and
His tie was made of silk

But he just feeds my revolution
We're never gonna be the same
I found my solution
We gotta win this thing
And then we gotta change the game
And then we gotta heal some pain
If we'll ever have peace again...

He tried to rock me like a baby
Like some naive little girl
He opened up his wallet and
He promised us the world

But he just feeds my revolution
We're never gonna be the same
I found my solution
We gotta win this thing
And then we gotta change the game
And then we gotta heal some pain
If we'll ever have peace again...

We're going to line up at the voting box
With our skepticism intact
And send Miami packing without ever looking back

But he just feeds my revolution
We're never gonna be the same
I found my solution
We gotta win this thing
And then we gotta change the game
And then we gotta heal some pain
If we'll ever have peace again...

by the way, the No on L charlatans are still having a go at Peebles on their website:

Golly what happened in 3 months that made Daniel Grimm and Peebles Corp decide to sell instead of develop? I'll throw out 3 names: Cecilia Quick, Jim Vreeland, Julie Lancelle.

The No on Everything campaign seems unwilling to accept their victory in 2006, instead continuing to vilify the world class developer they chased out of town and brought Pacifica one step closer to bankruptcy.

Interesting website Jeff, at least they're talking to themselves-- keeping eachother believing its better to prevent city improvement than experience it.

What is that terrible music that plays when one goes to Fix Pacifica?

We would like to use it as part of our enhanced interrogation techniques here at Guantanamo.
