OK everyone - stop your grinnin' and drop your linen! SF Recreation and Park Department says golf course should stay an 18-hole course with slight modifications.
"They concluded that the San Francisco Garter Snake and the California Red-Legged Frog can not only survive, but also flourish at Sharp Park by restoring the most valuable habitat for the two species, a transitional wetlands area that includes Laguna Salada, Horse Stable Pond, and the connecting habitat between these two water bodies."

so when is Ian Butler going to post that audio of Brent Plater accusing the golfers of cheating?
This is indeed good news for Sharp Park, golfers who enjoy the game there, Fairway Park residents and Pacifica. THank you to all who have helped our cause and have donated money to the SF Golf Alliance. The fight is not over but this is defintly good news.
Congratulations everyone.
Butch, et al . . . sounds like reason and facts triumphed over Plater's hyper-processed cow fertilizer. Well done to all who made this possible. And kudoes to the golf course supporters who stuck to the facts and weren't intimidated by the baiting and cries of victimization of the CBD and their lackeys.
