New Restaurant Alert

I was driving around the Manor area today, and noticed La Mordida, in the old Taco Bell location, is now open and very crowded.

Hope it's good. High Tides has become so crowded we need a 2nd spot. Anything to avoid home-cooking.

"High Tides has become so crowded.."

Good food, and as you say "anything to avoid home-cooking". But, High Tides is kind of uncomfortable. Kenny's has good Chinese food, is comfortable, and the price is about right. Just my opinion.

Longtime fan of Kenny's and May and her family. Newer fan of High Tides. Love both places, especially the patio and a LiteHouse sandwich at High Tides and the Beef Broccoli at Kenny's.
Trying out La Mordida this week.

I'll have to see how they stack up against Gurerro's, El Toro Loco and Gran de Oro.

I plan to try them on Wednesday but El Toro Loco will be hard to beat.

My standard is El Pollo Loco.

Looks like a lot of people missed lunch today.

I'll have to check out this new business in the Pacific Manor area, this business has been vacant far too long. One of my customers was employed as s pizza maker, said he made just 9 pizzas in his entire months there. I really like Gran de Oro near where I live, but they close so early I cant get there anymore as my new business closes at 6. The Green Enchilada in Manor is great and uses real fresh Mex with locally grown produce purchased at the nearby market. Tell them Gary Mondfrans from Pacific Passions sent you, ask for a homemade Horchata enjoy their delicious taco chips.
