New Year's Resolution

http://www.examiner.com/x-22551-Mesa-Elementary-Years-Parenting-Examiner~y2009m12d29-History-of-New-Years-Resolutions

Did anyone make a New Years Resolution this year, and five days out are you still keeping to it?

The history of making New Year’s resolution began with the Babylonians approximately 4,000 years ago. The Babylonians New Year’s Day was March 23rd. March was a logical time period for the New Year because spring begins and crops are planted. The Romans celebrated the New Year on March 1st, not January 1st. New Years Day was changed to January 1st by Julius Caesar to honor Janus, the two-faced god who looks backwards into the old year and forward into the new.

Take it somewhere else. We can pick up the Examiner anywhere.

This post has nothing to do with our crumbling roads, bluffs etc...

What about our new Mayor?

Are we happy with Sue DeRetard?

She makes me sad to be a Pacifican of almost 50 years.

Zombie, then stop bitching and join forces this year to support city council candidates who can replace the 3 incumbents. This means volunteering your time and money.
