Planning Commission meeting, November 16, 2015

Consent items, none.    

Public hearings
1.  CDP-355-15, PSD-805-15.  Single family residence with one car garage addition, 500 square feet, 120 Santa Rosa Avenue (APN 016-192-030), non-conforming lot. The existing home is 1,000 square feet.  (Approve as conditioned.)
2.  SP-153-15.  Three-story single family residence, 3,111 square feet, 323 Beaumont Boulevard (APN 009-037-450).  New construction on a 6,105 square foot vacant lot.  (Approve as conditioned.)

3.  CDP-356-15.  Demolish the 330 Esplanade Drive apartment building, which is unsafe and has been uninhabited for several years, (APN 009-413-030).  (Approve as Conditioned.)

What took so long, almost six years since the building was red tagged. Now with the clock running on an El Nino storm events the City starts the time consuming process of getting the building demolished.

My money's on El Nino. Probably take out this bldg and a few others while Council flaps around like a bunch of gulls.
